TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) — Laura’s Jayden threw for 484 yards and tied a school record with six touchdowns, Jacob Cowing caught 12 passes for 180 yards and a touchdown and Arizona used that big night in the air to beat Colorado 43-20.

Arizona is halfway through the six wins needed for bowl eligibility, a year after a dismal 1-11 campaign. The Wildcats had 673 total yards.

It was another lopsided loss for the Buffs, who lost their first four games by at least 25 points and weren’t much better against the Wildcats.

Air Force finds tough running game late, beats Navy 13-10

AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. (AP) — Haaziq Daniels and the Air Force ground game finally got on track late to help the Falcons hold off Navy 13-10.

The option quarterback earned the victory for the Falcons with an 18-yard springboard on Navy’s third and 6th territory, allowing them to run out of time. That was shortly after Matthew Dapore connected on a 22-yard field goal with 4:14 left to give the Air Force the lead.

Daniels had 65 yards rushing and 156 through the air, including a 67-yard touchdown pass to David Cormier on the third play of the game. Tai Lavatai tied the game at 10 apiece with 10:50 with a 5-yard run to third base.

Navy entered as a two-touchdown underdog.

McCoy throws for 4 touchdowns, Idaho beats N. Colorado 55-35

MOSCOW, Idaho (AP) — Gevani McCoy completed 22 of 27 passes for 297 yards and four touchdowns, Elisha Cummings had three touchdowns and Idaho beat Northern Colorado 55-35.

The Vandals (3-2, 2-0) threw just once and scored on nine of 11 offensive possessions and seven in a row, starting with a 27-yard touchdown by Cummings that gave Idaho a 17-13 lead with 4:12 left in the second quarter and ending when Ricardo Chavez – who scored a 21-yard field goal in the first quarter – threw a 39-yarder that made it 55-28 with 5:02 to go.

Dylan McCaffrey passed 17 of 26 for 274 yards with two touchdowns and two second-half interceptions for Northern Colorado.

Cordeiro powers San Jose State to 33-16 win over Wyoming

LARAMIE, Wyo, (AP) — Chevan Cordeiro passed for 314 yards and a touchdown and ran for two scores to propel San Jose State to a 33-16 win over Wyoming.

Cordeiro connected with Skylar Loving-Black for an 8-yard touchdown midway through the second quarter, then scored on a 1-yard run with 16 seconds left to give San Jose State (4-1) a 19-10 lead at halftime in its Mountain West Conference Opener.

Kairee Robinson scored on a 1-yard rush in the third quarter for the Spartans and Cordeiro capped the scoring on an 18-yard rush with 6:12 left in the game.

Davis rushes for 199 yards, SDSU beats Western Illinois

BROOKINGS, SD (AP) — Isaiah Davis rushed for 199 yards, including his first two touchdowns of the season, Mark Gronowski passed for 188 yards and a score, and South Dakota State beat West Illinois winless 34-10.

Davis scored on a 2-yard rush on the first drive of the South Dakota State game and he added a 12-yard rush with 7:27 left in fourth for a 31-point lead.

SDSU rushed for a season-high 263 yards, while the Jackrabbits defense held WIU to 220 total yards.

Jaxon Janke caught nine passes for 94 yards and a touchdown for South Dakota State, which has won four straight.

Six other SDSU receivers each had one jack.

Clay Bruno was 10 of 20 for 129 yards and a touchdown, and Naseim Brantley had 107 yards for Western Illinois.
